draaa-ma cat!

For future travel plans, we are trying to get Scout used to wearing a harness. Last night was our first attempt and she did not take to it at all! She wouldn't walk right and kept rolling around on the floor, trying to get it off. It was so sad and so funny at the same time. I felt terrible for her, but couldn't stop laughing at how dramatic she was being.

Anyone have any advice on getting cats used to a harness? I'd love to hear it!

Our cat tried to rip our faces off, so yours took it a bit better.

We just put a collar on our cat because she goes outside a lot. First she kept taking it off in the house. Then she took it off outside, and our neighbor four doors down called after finding it in his yard. The next time she took it off, we never saw it again. It's probably plowed under in the corn field.

thats too funny...
maybe you should try to give her treats or food after you put the harness on.
Then she might start to associate the harness with treats and food.
or you could always contact the kitty whisperer...
Good Luck and try not to torture Scout too much!
