Poor Scout. This winter was pretty cold , and at times our house was too, so she had to resort to laying on the floor vents for a little warmth from time to time.

finicky feline?

I know cats have a reputation as finicky but our little Scout is one heck of an enthusiastic eater. I really can't imagine her turning her nose up at anything. She starts purring if she even thinks she's getting fed and sometimes gets so excited her tail gets all puffy, like a raccoon-kitty. It's really too cute. I'm glad she's not difficult to please, but occasionally when I'm trying to fend small cat paws (and nose) off my plate of food, I wish she was a little more discerning.
